ICBME 2026 invites proposals for special symposia that explore emerging and interdisciplinary topics. Special symposia are central to ICBME, fostering vibrant discussions on the current and future state of biomedical engineering across research, applications, education, industry and entrepreneurship.
Proposals may incorporate keynote and invited talks, panel discussions, live demonstrations, hands-on tutorials, or other creative formats that stimulate exchange of ideas and collaboration.
ICBME promotes diversity and inclusion. When selecting speakers, we kindly ask proposers to consider a balanced representation of nationalities and genders.
