  • Young Investigator Award

To encourage early career investigators to share their work, ICBME will be presenting the Young Investigator Award. This award is open to all graduate students and research fellows within 5 years of their postdoctoral training (excluding parental and medical leave). The prizes are as follows:

  • 1st prize: S$1,000
  • 2nd prize: S$600
  • 3rd prize: S$400
  • Submission Guidelines

Interested applicants are required to submit the following supporting documents as a single PDF file via the YIA submission page. Please note that separate submission via the main abstract submission system is not required.

The submission should include:

  • A two-page CV outlining educational background, research training, publications, patents, and awards (if any)
  • A 100-word personal statement describing the applicant’s scientific contributions and achievements
  • An abstract for ICBME 2026
  • A reference letter from the applicant’s PhD or postdoctoral research advisor
